Egypt’s El Sewedy Electric mulls industrial zone in Uganda
Egyptian cable maker El Sewedy Electric is studying to establish an industrial zone in Uganda, its investment head Amr Fouda announced on Monday.
The industrial zone will include a logistics area to build more factories to serve Uganda and neighboring countries, Fouda said during his participation in an economic conference in Cairo.
“El Sewedy has been operating in Africa since 1990s and it has relations with many countries in the continent,” he said.
