Egyptian cable maker Elsewedy Electric announced Sunday its subsidiary Elsewedy Electric T&D had signed a contract to design, supply, and establish overhead lines for state-run Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC).
Signed on July 4th, the contract is worth $190 million, the company added.
The anticipated overhead lines with capacity of 500 KV and length of 358 kilometres will be able to link different parts in Egypt. These lines will be completed within 18 months, Elsewedy said.
