Egypt’s El-Sherbiny reviews progress of Decent Life initiative projects

Egypt’s Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny on Monday reviewed the progress of projects under the Decent Life initiative for rural development in the country, as per a Cabinet statement.

El-Sherbiny emphasised the significance of projects under the presidential initiative Decent Life, highlighting their direct impact on citizens by enhancing their quality of life and expanding services in targeted villages.

The minister stressed his commitment to closely monitoring the progress of projects, such as drinking water and sanitation facilities and resolving any issues that may arise during implementation, the statement added.

A circular has been issued to the ministry’s affiliated bodies involved in carrying out the projects of the presidential initiative Decent Life, emphasising the prioritisation of local products and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.

El-Sherbiny directed officials to intensify efforts, closely monitor ongoing projects, and ensure their completion according to set timelines to maximise benefits for residents in the targeted villages.
