Egypt’s national electricity grid is operating steadily across all sectors, with power stations receiving regular natural gas supplies. Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat confirmed that plans are in place to maintain operations and ensure the grid’s stability and uninterrupted electricity supply.

The statement came during a meeting on Saturday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly to review the grid’s performance amid regional developments.

The meeting focused on securing fuel supplies for power stations and implementing contingency measures to guarantee continuous electricity for residential, commercial, and industrial users.

The Minister emphasised that all sectors of the grid are functioning normally and that authorities are prepared to respond to any operational challenges, ensuring consistent service across the country.
