Egypt’s EMRA, Schneider Electric explore energy solutions for mining sector

The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) is exploring ways to enhance energy infrastructure in the mining sector through potential collaboration with Schneider Electric.

On the sidelines of EGYPES 2025, EMRA Chairman Yasser Ramadan met with a Schneider Electric delegation to discuss investment opportunities and the adoption of advanced technologies aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability in mining operations.

Schneider Electric representatives expressed interest in delivering innovative energy solutions to support Egypt’s mining sector. Both sides agreed to explore future collaboration and joint projects in line with global standards.
