The Egyptian exports of engineering and electronic products have increased by 11 percent in the first 11 months of 2017 recording $2.3 billion compared to $2.1 billion in the same period last year.
According Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) monthly report, the engineering products have inched by 2% during November 2017 registering $259 million comparing to $186 million in November 2016.
While the electronics appliances exports have posted $728 million in 11 month, cars components exports have reported $631 million, cables and home appliances exports have recorded $443 million and $305 million respectively.
Moreover, 10 countries have captured 64 percent of the sector exports led by UAE with imports that recorded $290 million followed by UK at $288 million, then KSA at $251 million and Qatar at $202 million.
On the other hand, the Egyptian exports to Iraq, France and Algeria have recorded $ 135 million, $92 million and $91 million respectively.
