Egypt’s EPROM, Nigeria’s NETCO sign partnership contract

The Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance Company (EPROM) signed a pivotal contract on Friday with Nigeria’s National Engineering and Technical Company Limited (NETCO) on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC) in Alexandria. This agreement, which will see EPROM delivering technical services in Nigeria, marks the company’s first international venture in Africa.

This collaboration aligns with Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum’s directive to expand Egyptian petroleum expertise into African markets, fostering deeper bilateral energy cooperation.

The contract launch included a tour of the Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR), allowing NETCO’s delegation to observe EPROM’s high standards in safety and operational performance firsthand.

This contract is EPROM’s first step in an ambitious regional expansion plan, supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, to bring EPROM’s high-quality services to new markets across Africa.
