Egyptian exports to the Ethiopian market reached EGP 48 million during June 2013, compared to EGP 18 million at the same period in 2012.
According to official data from the Foreign Trade sector to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Egypt’s exports to Ethiopia concentrated on the chemical and fertilizers sector at value of EGP 18 million out of the total value of the exports, followed by the building and furnishings sectors.
Alaa Al Sakty, Board’s Chairman of Badr Industrial City Investors Association, told “Amwal Al Ghad” that the Ethiopian market is full export and investing opportunities to the Egyptian investors that can contribute to improving the bilateral relations between Cairo and Addis Ababa in the coming period.
