Egypt’s Fawry shares worth $123.4 million sold in block deals – EGX

Egypt’s e-payment giant Fawry saw two block deals worth $123.4 million, the country stock exchange (EGX) said on Tuesday.

A block deal was executed on 201.6 million subscription rights in Fawry at a total value of $54.87 million, according to a bourse filing to the EGX on Sunday.

Shares in Fawry traded at 4.94 Egyptian pounds, up 4.88 percent after the deals were struck.
