Egypt’s Finance Ministry auctions 16.2 bln pounds in T-bills
Egypt’s Ministry of Finance announced on Sunday that it auctioned treasury bills at a total value of 16.250 billion pounds.
In an a statement published on its official website , the ministry said it sold 8.250 billion pounds of 91-days treasury bills with an average interest rate of 19.179 percent.
The yield ranged from 18.988 percent to 19.279 percent.
The ministry added that it also sold 8 billion pounds of 273-days treasury bills that had a coupon of 19.54 percent. The yield ranged from 19 percent to 19.68 percent.
