Egypt’s FinMin courts German investors at Munich, Frankfur business forums next week

Egypt’s Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk will meet international investors next week at the 2025 Egyptian-German Business Forum in Munich and Frankfurt, continuing his dialogue with the business community in a move dubbed a “trust partnership.”

Kouchouk is expected to highlight Egypt’s investment incentives, including tax breaks and financial policies supporting production and exports, while promoting opportunities in priority developmental sectors attractive to German companies, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. He will also hold meetings with officials and business representatives.

The minister will outline ongoing collaboration between Egypt’s finance, investment, and foreign trade ministries to improve the investment climate, cut trade costs, and support exports. Future plans to enhance economic competitiveness, streamline procedures, and reduce business costs will also be discussed.

An open session will focus on Egypt’s strong and balanced financial performance in the past fiscal year, achieved through private sector responsiveness to government initiatives. The forum underscores Egypt’s push to attract foreign investment and drive sustainable growth, the statement added.
