An Egyptian delegation, led by Mohamed Kamel Amr- Minister of Foreign Affairs, traveled today to Saudi Arabia in order to take part tomorrow in the Contact Group meeting, which is concerned with the violence against Myanmar Muslims.
The meeting will look into the procedures that the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to deal with the crisis.
The Contact Group encompasses 11 countries; they are Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Senegal, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Bangladesh and Brunei.
It is worth mentioning that the Contact Group formed in September 2012, and held its first consultative meetings in New York on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the UN.
