Egyptian food company Fruttella eyes 15% growth in 2019/20 exports
Egypt’s Fruttella for Food Industries aims to boost its exports by 10-15 percent during the 2019-2020 agricultural export season, which runs from September through August.
During the 2018/2019 agricultural export season, the company exported around 20,000 tonnes, Ahmed Sarhan, managing director of Fruttella told Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday.
“The company has a business value of 150 million Egyptian pounds approximately ($9.3 million),” Sarhan said.
Fruttella exports to more than 40 countries around the world, including Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, the Netherlands, Iran, Italy, Kuwait, Malta, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sudan, Sweden, Ukraine, UK, and UAE, he added.
