Egypt’s GASC buys 55k tons of Russian wheat

The Egyptian General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) bought 55 thousand tons of Russian wheat in international practise, according to Al-Arabiya, while the authority didn’t announce the purchase yet.

GASC is attempting to buy supplying wheat during the period from July 21 to July 31, 2023. The wheat is set to arrive via FOB, and the payment will be fulfilled once the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation sees the shipment.
