Egypt’s gold hits all-time high on Monday
Egypt’s gold prices jumped on Monday, with the 24-carat gold going up by 34 Egyptian pounds reaching 3,577 pounds per gram.
The 22-carat gold climbed by 31 pounds at the price of 3,279 pounds per gram.
Meanwhile, the most popular in the local market, the 21-carat gold soared by 30 pounds, to trade at 3,130 pounds per gram.
The 18-carat gold surged by 26 pounds, at the price of 2,683 pounds per gram.
The 14-carat gold reached 2,073 per gram.
The 21-carat gold coin which is typically 8 grams reached 24,800 pounds.
U.S gold prices went up by 0.13 percent or $0.08 for the 24 carat, reaching $66.09 per gram.
