Egypt’s gold prices drop on April 16
Egypt’s local 24-carat gold prices dropped to EGP 3,742.75 per gram for selling and EGP 3,714.25 for buying, on Tuesday at 12:00 pm (CLT), down from EGP 3,771.5 on Monday, according to an electronic gold price platform.
Meanwhile, 21-carat gold stood at EGP 3,275.0 per gram for selling and EGP 3250.0 for buying, compared to EGP 3,300.0 per gram for selling and EGP 3250.0 for buying during the same period.
The 18-carat gold dropped to EGP 2807.25 per gram for selling, down from EGP 2828.5 per gram for selling on Monday and stay remained at EGP 2785.75 for buying same as the day before.
The 14-carat gold selling price has dropped slightly to EGP 2183.25 per gram compared to EGP 2200.0 per gram, while the buying price keep maintained at and EGP 2166.75 similar to the previous day.
Notably, gold pound dropped to EGP 26,200.0, from EGP 26,400.0 and the buying price keeps steady at EGP 26,000.0 as on Monday at 11:52 pm.
