Gold prices in Egypt rose on Monday as 21-carat gold reached 3040 Egyptian pounds per gram, Amwal Al Ghad Arabic reported.
The price of 24-carat gold reached 3474.25 pounds per gram, the highest-priced carat in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the 18-carat gold traded at 2605.75 pounds per gram and 14-carat gold at 2026.75 pounds per gram.
Notably, a gold pound, weighing eight grams of 21-carat gold, was priced at 24320 pounds, the report added.
