Egypt’s Healthcare Authority (EHA) has signed on Thursday a cooperation protocol with Zambia’s Shalina Pharmaceuticals to ensure a stable supply of essential medicines and medical equipment across its hospitals, adhering to top international standards. This agreement aims to enhance therapeutic services under Egypt’s comprehensive health insurance system.
The announcement was made during the Arab Health 2025 conference, where EHA Chairman Ahmed El-Sobky also held discussions with UAE’s PureHealth on advancing hospital management systems, data integration, and AI-driven medical information analysis. The collaboration is set to boost operational efficiency and elevate service quality in Egypt’s healthcare sector.
El-Sobky further engaged with leading global health tech, medical device, and AI firms, reinforcing Egypt’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology and international expertise to drive innovation and improve healthcare services nationwide.
