Egypt’s healthcare authority forges 4 key strategic partnerships

Egypt’s Healthcare Authority (EHA) signed four ministerial and strategic cooperation agreements on Wednesday aimed at strengthening links between the health sector and government institutions. The deals were announced at EHA’s 6th Annual International Forum in Cairo.

One protocol with the Ministry of Youth and Sports will support youth development initiatives, offering training and innovation programmes. A tripartite agreement with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) and the Waste Management Regulatory Authority (WMRA) seeks to integrate healthcare services into national climate adaptation and environmental mitigation efforts.

Additional agreements with the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) and the Hayah Karima (Decent Life) Foundation focus on staff training, development of locally manufactured medical devices, improved hospital services, and coordination with civil society and academic institutions.

EHA Chairman Ahmed El-Sobky said the partnerships underscore the government’s commitment to improving healthcare quality, promoting sustainability, empowering young people, and fostering innovation across the sector.
