Egypt’s Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny conducted a site visit to the under-construction Fustat Hills project in Old Cairo following a meeting with implementing companies, the ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday.
Accompanied by the head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction and ministry officials, Minister El-Sherbiny inspected several key components of the project, including the investment zone and the Arena development.
The minister instructed officials and contractors to intensify landscaping and maintenance efforts, ensure proper irrigation systems, and expedite all remaining works. He stressed the importance of site cleanliness, increasing workforce deployment, and working around the clock to meet the scheduled deadlines.
Minister El-Sherbiny also directed immediate action against underperforming contractors, reiterating the government’s commitment to timely project completion and high-quality urban development.
