Egypt’s Housing Min. stresses executive-legislative coordination

Egypt’s Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny stressed the importance of coordination between executive and legislative authorities to serve national interests and citizens’ needs, the Cabinet said on Wednesday.

During his meeting with lawmakers, he affirmed his commitment to maintaining ongoing communication with parliamentarians to listen to local concerns and work on resolving them.

MPs raised issues related to housing projects, drinking water, sanitation, and other services overseen by the ministry in several governorates and new cities.

Parliamentarians expressed their appreciation for the minister’s swift response and for directing ministry teams to follow up on-site and accelerate project implementation in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
