The Egyptian Industrial Development Authority granted licenses to 1300 industrial entity during the last four months ,said the Chairman of IDA, Eng. Mohamed Abdel Karim. The government is setting new facilitating policies to bring in investors.
IDA is keen on attracting more investors to join the official economic system, aiming to achieve an industrial system that takes into account the climate and environmental perspectives, Abdel Karim said in his words at Climate and Environment Investment forum.
He added that the IDA has established a power-saving unit and built new industrial complexes to reach 17 complexes all over the country and allocated specific areas for recycling factories’ waste. This came in steps towards green transition.
