Egypt’s Interior, ICT Ministries Ink Protocol to Develop Traffic Services

The Egyptian Information and Communication Technology (ICT)and the Interior Ministries have inked joint cooperation protocol, in the framework of the efforts which exhausted by the country’s devices in order to promote for the governmental sector, especially traffics , due to the highly population and the increase of the industrial and commercial activities.

Eng. Atef Helmy , ICT Minister stated that the protocol aims activating the role of ICT and using new technological systems in traffic sector, beside facilitating the services for citizens across republic along with raising the efficiencies of services inside the traffic sector.

By May 2014, electronic payment center will be launched in cooperation with the General Prosecutions, Interior and ICT Ministries so as to provide all the facilities regarding making the fully best use of traffic services and dealing with licences and delivering them to homes to ease the burden for them to go to the traffic departments and save time and effort in this regard.
