Egypt’s Kraft Heinz expands to boost production, exports

Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel Al-Wazir has inaugurated on Saturday the expansions of Kraft Heinz – Cairo Food Industries factory in 6th of October City.

The factory, which has expanded to 30,000 square metres and added seven new production lines, is expected to double its annual production to 53,000 tons with a $50 million direct foreign investments.

Kraft Heinz plant also target increasing its export rate from 12 per cent to 20 per cent in Arab, African, and European markets, according to a statement published by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
