Egypt plans skill verification for overseas workers with E-LAW

Egypt’s Minister of Labour Mohamed Gobran met with a delegation from E-LAW for Integrated Consultancy and Services, a locally established company specialising in digital technology from both legal and technical perspectives, as per a Cabinet statement.

The meeting focused on cooperation in verifying the qualifications and experience required of Egyptian workers prior to travelling abroad.

Minister Gobran stressed that the ministry is working with all development partners, domestically and internationally, to enhance the vocational training system and prepare Egyptian youth to meet labour market demands.

He noted that ensuring Egyptian workers possess the necessary skills, expertise, and certified qualifications is a key part of developing this system, as it helps protect workers’ rights abroad and ensure job sustainability without complications or challenges.
