Egypt’s Labour Min. discusses vocational training, workers’ rights in Qalyubia

Egypt’s Labour Minister Mohamed Gobran and Qalyubia Governor Ayman Attia have met with investors in the governorate to explore opportunities to develop the vocational training system in the governorate, the Ministry said in a statement.

The minister and the governor discussed strengthening cooperation on vocational training, employment, and the integration of people with disabilities into the workforce. The meeting also addressed improving working conditions, protecting informal workers, and regulating foreign labour permits. Measures to safeguard workers’ rights under the new Labour Law No. 14 of 2025 were highlighted.
