Egypt’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) exports rose to 4.86 million tons in the first nine months of 2022, up from 4.35 million tons in the same period in 2021, the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) said on Wednesday.
This comes to culminate the efforts made by Egypt in terms of supporting the exploration process and injecting investments into development different fields.
While, this matching with the aim of transforming Egypt into the main regional energy hub in MENA and maximizing the value added of natural gas, according to IDCS’s statement.
IDCS said that Egypt’s LNG exports rose 35.7 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2022, recording 1.9 million tons, according to its infographic showed.
