Egypt’s Mashrouak lends over EGP33b to SMEs since ’15

Egypt’s national project for community, human and local development (Mashrouak) has provided EGP 33 billion in loans since its launch in 2015, supporting more than 215,000 diverse small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Cabinet said.

The initiative has played a key role in generating more than 1.4 million job opportunities across the country, reflecting the state’s commitment to empowering youth, reducing unemployment, and promoting sustainable local development.
