Egypt’s MotherBeing donates menstrual products for women in Gaza
Egyptian reproductive and women’s health clinic MotherBeing announced on Friday it will donate menstrual products and sanitary pads to women in Gaza. The clinic is also providing free healthcare services to Palestinian women.
Women in Gaza now are dealing with lack of clean water and healthcare services.
Therefore, they have resorted to delaying their menstrual cycles by medications to avoid toxic shock syndrome.
“MotherBeing is offering free online consultations to all Palestinian women in need of medical advice regarding their reproductive health,” the clinic said in a post on Instagram.
“Currently, there are approximately 32,000 pregnant women in Gaza. Reproductive health does not stop or pause during wars and catastrophes.” they added.
The clinic is also accepting donations in their location at Street 252, Floor 3, Apartment 7, Degla, Maadi.
