Egypt’s leading construction firm, Mokhtar Ibrahim has been directly assigned a total volume of business with contractual amount of 8 billion Egyptian pounds (US$901mn)during the previous two years, said Mohamed Alkhatib Tuesday.
He told Amwal Al Ghad that the first punch of projects assigned to the company includes carrying out new roads projects among the national road network with total cost that exceed 1.5 billion Egyptian pounds.
The directly assigned projects represent 82 percent of the total volume of business of the company, Alkhatib added, noting that it has captured a share of the infrastructure and road projects in the proposed administrative capital city and New Alamien City.
