Egypt’s MSME agency to open a grand branch in new capital
Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) plans to open a new branch and an exhibition for small businesses in the country’s anticipated new administrative capital.
The agency signed last week a memorandum of understanding with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) to establish its branch over 500 metres square and a permanent exhibition over 2,000 metres in the new capital.
“The new branch aims to provide all the necessary funding and technical services for any planned youth-led projects in the new capital,” Nevine Gamea, MSMEDA chairperson, told reporters after signing the memo on Thursday.
The exhibition is designated to present and promote the products made by micro and small-sized enterprises, Gamea said.
