Egypt’s MSMEDA, IntilaQ sign MoU to boost startup ecosystem
The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and IntilaQ Company on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Egypt.
The agreement seeks to streamline regulations, provide financial and technical support, and foster a thriving startup ecosystem, as well as support the establishment and growth of medium, small, and micro enterprises.
Moreover, the partnership will prioritise implementing Law No. 152 of 2020, offering startups essential financial, technical, and IT support, and identifying regulatory hurdles to propose necessary amendments. IntilaQ aims to position Egypt as a regional hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in the Middle East and Africa.
