Egypt’s National Investment Bank earns ISO certificate
Egypt’s National Investment Bank (NIB) has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification for the quality of financial services provided for national investments, reflecting its continued efforts in development and restructuring.
Minister of Planning Rania Al-Mashat said the certification reinforces NIB’s role in promoting governance, enhancing the efficiency of public investments, and ensuring their effective implementation. She noted that the bank monitors public investments through both desk-based and field follow-ups, issuing reports and recommendations to guide resource allocation toward priority productive sectors and projects with strong economic and social impact.
Al-Mashat added that NIB has witnessed a significant transformation in recent years, driven by internal and external development initiatives and the adoption of advanced technological systems to boost performance and efficiency. She also highlighted that the government is working to settle financial entanglements between NIB and national entities to enhance the bank’s financial solvency and maximise returns on its investments.
