Egypt’s net FX reserves rise in January to $52.6 bln – central bank
Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose to $52.594 billion at the end of January, up from $51.452 billion in December, the central bank said on Thursday.
The $1.142 billion increase represents a 2.2 per cent month-on-month rise, supported by steady inflows from exports, tourism revenues and remittances, despite a challenging global economic environment.
