Egypt’s New Alamein to host global art events

Egypt’s New Alamein City will host two major international art events: the Egypt International Sculpture Symposium from August 6 to 30, 2025 and Art Space from July 19 to September 30,  2025, as per a Cabinet statement on Monday.

The forum will showcase 30 top-tier sculptors from various countries.

Ahmed Ibrahim, head of the New Alamein City Authority, said the city is hosting the cultural event with full logistical support to ensure its success. He described New Alamein as a modern hub that combines art, tourism, and contemporary living.

The symposium will include sculpture workshops, a contemporary art exhibition, an Art Dinner closing event, and a cultural tourism programme for participating artists covering Alamein, Alexandria, the Pyramids, and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Meanwhile, Art Space event will present visual installations, interactive workshops, and live artistic performances, offering visitors a dynamic and immersive artistic experience.
