Egypt finalises a new Draft Law for Border Demarcation – Minister

Egypt’s new border demarcation law has been finalized, said Minister of State for Local Development Adel Labib. The completion of the new draft law was postponed due to assigning the new municipal governors in Egypt, he stated.

The Egyptian minister further told reporters on Monday that the draft law would be presented to the Egyptian cabinet at the end of the current week to be endorsed.

It shall be issued by the end of this month, affirmed the minister.

The minister further added that the governors would give the full authority to the municipal heads to terminate the centralisation.
