Egypt’s new coronavirus cases tick up recording 167 on Saturday

Egypt has now disclosed a total of 95,314 confirmed cases of covid-19, after the ministry reported 167 new infection on Saturday

The Health Ministry reported 21 new deaths from covid-19, bringing the country’s total death toll to 4,992.

Egypt has now disclosed a total of 95,314 confirmed cases of covid-19, after the ministry reported 167 new infections yesterday. We now have a total of 51,672 confirmed cases that have fully recovered.

Egypt’s single-day case numbers have been inching up since Tuesday, 4 August, when we had reached a near-four-month low.
