Egypt’s new real estate regulations see the light today

Egypt’s new real estate regulations have been ratified Tuesday by the state-run New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). The regulations are part of an ambitious plan to push the investment wheel forward towards the new cities in particular and all over the country in general.

NUCA has granted nod to the issuance of the new regulations during a board meeting Tuesday presided by the Minister of Housing Moustafa Madbouli.

The new regulations are aiming to set the rules and taking the necessary steps to double the utilized urban lands in Egypt from 7 percent to 14 percent by 2050.

Furthermore, they will contribute to provide new investments opportunities, meet the need of the citizens, make it easier for investors and speed up administrative procedures.
