The National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) announced on Sunday that it had launched its Unified Registration Portal, designed to simplify and digitise the process of registering food establishments.
NFSA’s new portal marks a significant step forward in supporting food businesses across Egypt, aligning with the nation’s digital transformation agenda.
Tarek El Houby, chairman of the NFSA, highlighted the importance of the new portal, emphasising its role in enhancing communication with food establishment owners and reducing the time and effort needed for registration.
The Unified Registration Portal app is a milestone in NFSA’s journey toward digital automation, offering an efficient, user-friendly solution for registering all types of food businesses directly from smartphones, El Houby said.
