Egypt’s non-oil exports hit $40.8b in 2024, boosted by key sectors – PM
Egypt’s non-oil exports have seen impressive growth, approaching $41 billion in 2024, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced on Thursday. The total export value reached $40.8 billion last year, a significant increase from $35 billion in 2023.
Speaking at a press conference following a Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly highlighted the importance of key sectors such as engineering and electronics, with exports from these industries alone reaching $5.77 billion. He stressed that the government is committed to developing all export sectors to achieve even better results and further strengthen Egypt’s position in global markets.
