Egypt’s Petroleum Minister probes cooperation with UAE’s Fujairah

Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, met on Monday with Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah’s Diwan Al Amiri, to boost cooperation and support the strategic partnership between the two countries in the coming period.

Both sides discussed a number of shared topics and ways to develop them across various development and investment fields. They also reviewed bilateral relations and opportunities for joint work between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in different sectors.

Badawi stated that this cooperation comes within the framework of strengthening Egypt’s role as a regional energy hub.

Al Dhanhani conveyed the directives of Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, stressing the importance of enhancing service levels to keep pace with sustainable development and future progress between the two countries.
