Egypt’s PM attends official dinner hosted by China’s Xi at SCO Plus Summit

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Sunday attended an official dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the start of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Plus Summit in Tianjin, which runs from August 31 to September 1.

In his address at the dinner, President Xi highlighted the challenges facing the current international system and the positive role the SCO could play in addressing them. Leaders and heads of state and government participating in the summit also took part in a commemorative photo.

Madbouly is scheduled to deliver Egypt’s statement on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday, September 1, during the summit’s formal session.
