Egypt’s PM evaluates progress on universities, research centres, Hospital 500500

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly chaired a meeting on Thursday to assess the financial and implementation status of higher education projects overseen by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, according to a Cabinet statement.

The projects under review include the establishment of private and technological universities, research centres, and institutes, alongside infrastructure upgrades for several universities. The meeting also discussed a strategic vision for higher education, aiming to optimise resources and enhance institutional capabilities.

Additionally, officials provided an update on the National Cancer Institute project in Sheikh Zayed (Hospital 500500), reviewing the progress of its first and second phases and the steps taken to ensure its timely completion.
