Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly paid a visit to the Ramses Exchange to inspect the ongoing maintenance and restoration work following a recent fire that caused significant damage to the facility, according to CBC eXtra news.
Madbouly stressed the need to conduct a structural safety assessment of the building. Officials noted that a technical report would be issued by the department for technical inspection of construction works after a thorough evaluation.
The Prime Minister also called for the swift submission of an emergency recovery plan to fully restore the exchange’s operations as soon as structural integrity is confirmed.
