Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Thursday inaugurated the new headquarters of the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) in New Cairo, part of efforts to digitise services and tighten market regulation.
The facility, equipped with advanced digital infrastructure, underscores the state’s push for digital transformation and falls in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to bolster consumer rights, the Cabinet said in a statement.
Prime Minister Madbouly said the CPA plays a key role in safeguarding citizens’ interests, stressing the importance of a coordinated, proactive approach to monitor markets and reinforce social protection.
