Egypt’s Port Said Gov. partners with BCC for enhanced waste services
The Egypt’s governorate of Port Said signed a contract with the British Cleaning Company (BCC) to provide waste collection and transport services, as well as street cleaning and waste disposal from public facilities in several districts of the governorate, according to a Cabinet statement.
The company will manage the collection and transfer of municipal waste from residential and commercial areas, market waste, industrial zones, government buildings, and other locations within the designated service area.
The British Cleaning Company is set to begin a trial period starting from March 1st, 2025, during which its performance in improving cleanliness within Port Said will be evaluated.
This contract is part of the second phase of the integrated waste management programme, focusing on operational contracts aimed at enhancing the waste management and cleanliness standards in Port Said.
