Egypt’s president Abdel Fatah ElSisi met on Wednesday with prime minister Ibrahim Mahlab, oil minister Sherif Ismael, electricity minister Mohamed Shaker, and the chairperson of the South Cairo Distribution Company Osama Asran.
Presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef said that the meeting discussed the conditions of service provided to citizens, in terms of fuel supply and regularity of service.
ElSisi emphasized on the importance of fuel supply to stations and providing appropriate reserves, in addition to facilitating supplies to all petrol stations, especially in Upper Egypt governorates.
The president said that stable energy supply for plants must be insured to avoid repeating fuel supply shortage crisis, due to the job opportunities it provides and contribution to the increase of production and local market needs.
