Egypt’s private sector investments exceed 63% for 1st time

Egypt’s Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, highlighted on Thursday that, for the first time in years, private sector investments now account for over 63 per cent of total state investments. 

During his speech at Davos 2025, Kouchouk added that the government aims to regulate economic activity by establishing annual ceilings for public investments, public debt, and government guarantees.
