Egypt’s financial regulator – the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority said it has received around 70 new complaints against securities firms during the third quarter of 2013. Accordingly, the total number of complaints received by the EFSA has upped to 134.
The EFSA said 61 complaints were studied in Q3/2013, while 73 others are still under study by the end of last September.
The complaints during Q3/2013 were about the blank sale and purchase orders through the intermediary obtaining finance from him in amounts exceeding the investor’s financial capability.
