Egypt’s SCZONE plans first investment roadshow in Türkiye in September

Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) will hold its first investment roadshow in Türkiye in late September as part of efforts to lure new investors, the zone’s chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dien said Tuesday.

According to a SCZONE statement, Gamal El-Dien noted that the zone’s competitive advantages — from skilled labour and low-cost energy to its location linking Africa, Asia and Europe — make it an attractive destination for Turkish companies seeking to expand in global markets.

The roadshow comes as Egypt and Türkiye deepen economic ties following a thaw in political relations, with Turkish firms already among the top investors in Egypt’s textile and manufacturing sectors.
